Living the Truth in Love – A Dominican Vocation

Living the Truth in Love – A Dominican Vocation

Presenter:  R.B Williams, OP

June 24 – 30, 2017

We will reflect on the four pillars-PRAYER, STUDY, COMMUNITY AND MINISTRY and challenge ourselves to ask interiorly how each of these elements “tells the truth in love” about ourselves. Each of us must know our own personal truth before preaching to others. A question on which to reflect is: “How does being a Dominican tell the truth about me?”

Fr. Richard B. (R.B.) Williams, O.P. is a native of Natchitoches, LA. His education and formation includes a B.A. in Political Science, M.A. in Philosophy and Theology, and a law degree (J.D.). Ordained a priest in the Chicago Province of Dominican friars in 1971, Fr. R.B. has served through the years as a campus minister, Novice Master, Vicar Provincial, pastor, chaplain, teacher of health care ethics, matrimonial tribunal, and itinerant preaching, which is his primary ministry at this time. Since 2015, he has resided in Lubbock, TX with the Dominican campus ministry team at Texas Tech University.
