After more than four decades of offering a place of spiritual refreshment and renewal, Heartland Center for Spirituality will be closings its doors in December. This decision marks the end of a cherished ministry that has welcomed countless retreatants, seekers and friends into an atmosphere of quiet, hospitality, and Dominican peace.
As we prepare for this closing, we invite you to join us in celebrating the legacy of Heartland Center and the Dominican Sisters of Peace. Throughout the coming months we will host several special events that honor the spirit of the community and contemplation that has defined this convent for so many years.
Our calendar is filling quickly as many friends return to spend time at Heartland Center before its closure. However, a few openings remain for those who wish to schedule a private retreat. If you feel called to step away for rest, prayer or reflection, we encourage you to explore the available dates.
